Intterra brought together customers, partners, and fire service professionals in San Diego, CA at its inaugural Fire Operations Summit to host presentations and talks about the current state of the service and projections for its future. Proud to host and share a platform for creativity and innovation to flourish in, Intterra welcomed 50 attendees from 20 different departments to the Hilton Garden Inn. Chiefs, Captains, senior data and systems analysts/specialists, additional fire experts, and the Intterra team presented and discussed topics ranging from prevention and operations to new trends and legislation that affect the fire service industry.
The goal of this summit was to feature the capabilities and strengths of different departments while taking on some of the specific challenges that California puts in front of them every day. Many departments shared strategic ways they utilize Intterra and data as a tool to effectively pre-plan, manage incidents and keep their people safe. The agenda featured presentations and discussions with some of the greatest minds in the fire service. By bringing these individuals together now and on a greater scale in the future, Intterra will continue to support and arm the fire service with the best tools that it can.
Some of the topics covered were:
- Remote Sensing Trends For The Fire Service: What Is Simultaneous Awareness?
