Welcome to our Get to Know the Team blog series! This is your opportunity to get to know each member of the Intterra family a little bit better. This week we would like to introduce you to our software and systems developer extraordinaire, Jason Posthuma. He's been with us since October of 2015 and we wouldn't have it any other way! Jason spends most of his workday integrating new technologies into our software and making sure our customers receive the best possible version of our product. Check out his answers to a few of the questions we asked below and get to know Jason a little better.

What are you passionate about (both personally and professionally)?

On a professional level, I’m passionate about NodeJS, TypeScript, Unmanned Arial Systems, and machine learning, to name a few.

On a personal level, I’m very passionate about craft beer, cooking (and eating) good food, martial arts, chess, being a great dad, and exploring the world—both in travel and learning.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy hiking and exploring the natural beauty of our wonderful state. There's something really amazing about being out in nature. I also enjoy playing board games—specifically chess—and spending time with my kids on the weekends. I also like to get in at least a couple of 14ers every season [For our non-Coloradoan readers, Jason is referring to climbing mountain peaks throughout the state that exceed 14,000 feet in elevation].

What is currently filling the number 1 spot on your bucket list?

Hang gliding over the Front Range mountain range. I've definitely got to experience flying over the mountains before I go.

We hope you enjoyed getting to know Jason more personally! Check back in soon for another employee spotlight.
